Built on the strength of four founding Louisville institutions, LOUMED is now evolving into a bold, standalone brand for innovation and growth.


  • The District remains a collaboration of Norton Healthcare, University of Louisville, UofL Health, and JCTC.
  • The original color palette was created to reflect partner brands of founding members to represent unity. 
  • LOUMED now seeks brand enhancement that represents a cohesive, standalone brand that embodies innovation and growth.  


Objectives


  • To create a new brand identity that positions LOUMED as forward‑thinking, inclusive, and vibrant economic engine that is magnetic to talent, visitors and growth entities.  
  • To create a flexible brand graphics system for physical built environment, for website and other digital media, and for a variety of promotional touchpoints. 
  • To establish a contemporary color palette independent of founding partners yet still capable of honoring their contributions.
